‘Wonderland’ - Randolph
Crescent, Edinburgh. Designed with Catherine Melin, commissioned
by the French Institute for the Edinburgh Festival 2003.
One part of Edinburgh grafted onto another. An
entire Edinburgh ‘New Town’ Crescent transformed with
horticultural fleece, debris netting and lighting; the street language
of Leith (shop names) printed onto the trees. The resulting text
shifted and altered according to position as the viewer moves between
the trees.
