Designed with Frazer McNaughton for the International Festival
at Chaumont-sur- Loire, France. The central image of the garden
was a grid of over 1500 highly coloured vegetables planted
in the form of an enormous tartan. This feature was seen through
a viewing frame – ‘The Bothy’ – 28
individual boxes (supplied by a variety of Scottish artist,
writers and musicians) reflecting a range of images relating
to poverty, sectarianism and drug abuse.
Images include views of the Bothy looking
across the ‘tartan’ vegetables; and a model of
the garden. |
